Power quality improvement in distribution system based on dynamic voltage restorer using PI tuned fuzzy logic controller

Purpose. This article proposes a new control strategy for Dynamic Voltage Restorer (DVR) in utility grid distribution system. The proposed DVR using PI tuned fuzzy logic scheme is based on replacement of conventional and voltage sag compensation system network. novelty the work consists presenting an enhanced algorithm to efficiently dynamic restorer when suddenly occurred. Methods. which provides sophisticated cost-effective solution power quality problems. Our reactive powers also closed loop harmonic reduction technique validated MATLAB / Simulink software analysis working performances. Results. results obtained clearly show that have good performances (sag compensation, reduction) compared DVR. Originality. Compensation sag/ swell current by controller. Practical value. concerns comparative study application techniques achieve performance presents between control. use controller continuous network-linear as well non-linear loads efficient manner. simulation software.
